Like everyone else we are working with a very small budget. We love the look of stack stone, but can’t afford to do that. So ideas we’ve been playing with: make our own blocks out of concrete and molds (time consuming), use ceramic tile on a board, or large stones from a field (cheap but maybe not quite as “refined” as we a re going for)…anyone ideas? needs to be cheap, hopefully look expensive!

How do I come about ordering batches of flowers from the LA Flower District? Do I just go in the day before and grab what ever flower I want or should I meet with certain floral shops in the facility to order in advance.

Wow, such great ideas so far! Thanks! But I just thought of something … we’re also going to have a butterfly theme, but the only way this is really going affect the ceremony is that we’re releasing butterflies … I keep seeing lots of bird ideas … would the butterflies clash with the feathers?
